An aspiring author myself, I provide a proofreading and copyediting service for independent authors.

A copyedit should be carried out prior to typesetting. A proofread should be carried out on the typeset version of your manuscript as it's the final stage before publication.

My preferred genres are crime and thriller, romance, historical, literary, speculative (especially sci-fi/fantasy), young adult, and biographical, although I'm comfortable working with most genres.

I will edit a sample (of up to one thousand words) of your manuscript and return it to you, free of charge, so that you can see the quality of my work. The length of time taken to edit your sample will form the basis for my quote. You can upload your sample here.
